Characteristics of the Thermal Insulation THERMO-SHIELD



THERMO-SHIELD is a liquid pasty mass of gray (can be changed), consisting of ceramic beads, up to 100 microns, and a binder (acrylic polymer structured and dispersed polysiloxane).

Binder is a molecular sieve, transmits vapor molecules and do not miss the water molecules, so the polymerized coating pellicle of  THERMO-SHIELD "breathes." Since the binder is an aqueous dispersion, THERMO-SHIELD in a liquid form afraid freezing.

Due to its high content of polymeric material with hollow ceramic micro-spheres, filled with an inert gas, cover THERMO-SHIELD has low thermal conductivity, the ability to reflect 75% of incident light rays and dissipate up to 95% of infrared radiation. These properties contribute to the excellent conservation of heat in the premises, protection from solar radiation, overheating of premises and the roof surface

Coating of THERMO-SHIELD has a good hydrophobicity, chemical and biological stability. The structure of THERMO-SHIELD includes inhibitors that prevent the formation of rust.

THERMO-SHIELD eliminates: fungus, excessive cooling and freezing of the walls, condensation and rust.

Coverage THERMO-SHIELD has a good adhesion to steel, plastic, concrete, brick, wood and other surfaces (except polyethylene).

THERMO-SHIELD after polymerization forms a strong sufficiently flexible pellicle with a thickness of 0.5 - 3.5 mm (selected on the basis of the requirements of the object).
