INSTRUCTIONS
For applying of thermal insulation coating "Thermo-Shield".
Surface Preparation
Thermal insulation is applied to concrete, brick, metal, plastic, wood, glass, etc.
Before a covering the surface should be cleaned of dirt, dust, old paint, rust (metal brush or rag) degrease, and allow to dry.
Before applying the insulation, previously from concrete and brick surface remove dust with a brush and moisten and water and allow to dry.
Strip the plastic surface with a fine sandpaper (to eliminate gloss), remove dust and grease.
Preparation and coating of a thermal insulation
Remove the lid from a bucket. Take a drill with paddle for mixing and without turning on a drill, immerse the paddle into the thickened portion of the material, destroying crusts, stirring in the center and along the sides of the bucket. Insert a drill, and slowly mix the contents of the bucket until smooth with no lumps and clumps. Pour the stirred mass into a clean bucket through a filter with a hole diameter of the mesh - 0.5-1.0 mm. Remove any remaining lumps from the clogging of the sprayer.
When working with thermal insulation is necessary to constantly stirre to prevent its rise up the light fractions of the material!!!
When using a brush or roller, dilute with water insulation: for 1 L - 40 g distilled water and stir the mixture thoroughly. Apply one layer of thermal insulation on the surface, give it to dry for 1 hour. The thickness of a coated layer should not be more than 0.4 mm, or two passes tool. With a multi-layer applying, dry each previous layer at least 4 h at 25 ° C. The coating is applied crosswise.
Hot surfaces
When working with the material on the hot surfaces with temperatures up to 80 ° C, use a more liquid thermal insulation to 1 liter - 150 g of water. Above 120 ° C applied to the first three layers of a liquid thermal insulation to 1 liter - 200-400 grams of water; let dry to the coating, 4-5 layer in 1 liter - 100 -150 g of water. Next, apply thermal insulation to 1 liter - 30-50 g of water. The time of drying of one layer on the hot surfaces of from 10 minutes to 1 hour
Equipment
Thermal insulation coating "Thermo-Shield" can be applied to the surface with a brush with a long, soft, natural bristle brush, roller and airless sprayer type. Previously is skipped through a sprayer 2 liters of pure water, and then transferred the hose into a bucket of thermal insulation coating. When the water goes over and thermal insulation come, send a sprayer into the bucket of thermal insulation. For best performance sprayer, add to 20 l - 300 g water and mix. Equipment is ready. Use a compressor with a pressure of not more than 5 - 8 bar, the nozzle on sprayer of 0.5-0.8 mm. For applying the insulation on large areas, use airless sprayer type, similar to sprayer WIWA. Graco-695, Graco-795, Graco-10000, "Wagner-2600NA", "Wagner 7000NA" etc.
Thickness control
Commit when the coating is completely dry. Coating Thickness Gauge: ТП - 34, or micrometer 0-25 ГОСТ 650788, indicator 0.01 ГОСТ 577-88. etc. The layer thickness of 0.5 mm can be determined if material consumption 0.5 L - 1 m ² or by the thickness (optical density) of the material (through the layer of the applied material on the surface should not be seen the basis).
WARNING!
Do not use a high speed stirring - this will result in destruction of silicon and ceramic beads! With using a drill during mixing blade rotation speed should not be higher than 300 cycles / minute!
Safety requirements!
Environmentally friendly and fireproof material. When working with the material necessary to to comply with safety requirements in accordance with СНиП 111-4-80, СанПин6027A-91, ГОСТ 20010, ГОСТ 12, 04.013, ГОСТ 27575, ГОСТ 27574. Period of operation for outdoor use for over 20 years. Under normal conditions, the product is safe. If the room is well ventilated, or work is carried out outside the premises - respirators are not required. In a room with no ventilation - use standard respirators.
To protect the eyes use chemical safety goggles. For rinsing eyes should have access to flowing water. For skin protection use chemical protective clothing and gloves. Before re-use to wash protective clothing. If product gets into the eyes - immediately wash out in flowing water for 15 minutes. If irritation persists - consult your doctor. After contact with skin - wash with soap and water. Wash contaminated clothing returns. With inhalation, move to fresh air.
The product is non-flammable liquid. With ignition of designs or constructions which are coated of the material, quenching fire - by using water, foam, dry chemicals, and carbon dioxide.
In case of spillage of the product, use of any absorbent material such as sand, soil, etc.
If the instructions of application and storage of material are not met, the manufacturer is not responsible for the quality of the coating.
NOTE: FREEZE WARNING!
Transport and storage temperature of material is not below +1 º C!
Insulation work can be carried out on the surface with a temperature of + 7 º C to 150 º C.
